The owners of apartment JM 69 wanted dramatic chic, a sense of art and subtle eroticism in the apartment.

The design is built around the paintings and art installations that were already available at the beginning.

Since it is a family home with children, many of the adult elements are veiled and have a dual function. The rack for worn clothes in the bedroom next to the mirror becomes a convenient pole for tying an X.

Opposite the bedroom there is an aged mirror – which gives room for fantasy, without being direct. And, under it is a fireproof candle rack – so the flame is reflected in the mirror and gives double depth. The walls are protected with washable and thick wallpapers that have a noise-absorbing function.

In the bathroom, toilet and kitchen, a design with optimal functionality and use of every niche is unfolded. The refrigerator is from floor to ceiling, and the chamber is a separate appliance under the counter, all drinks have a place in the wine refrigerator. The requirement to have minimal bending is met by using an AEG dishwasher with a lower shelf that lifts when loading; an oven with a microwave at the level above the countertop and a niche at the height of the worktop for olive oils.
